Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fiodor Jemilenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daisuke Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daisuke Nakamura is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fiodor Jemilenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daisuke Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jemilenko ducks under a wild hook from Nakamura. Jemilenko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nakamura. Jemilenko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nakamura.
Nakamura slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Nakamura thuds a left hand into Jemilenko's body. Nakamura catches Jemilenko with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nakamura jabs Jemilenko to the body, keeping him at a distance. Nakamura connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Jemilenko scores a takedown into full mount! Nakamura can't escape the position.
Nakamura bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jemilenko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nakamura is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nakamura tries to free his leg and advance position but Jemilenko is retaining full guard. Jemilenko is pulling down on Nakamura's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jemilenko has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Nakamura looking to pass the guard. Nakamura drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nakamura jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jemilenko wants to get back to his feet but Nakamura is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jemilenko controls Nakamura momentarily but Nakamura frees himself. Nakamura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jemilenko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jemilenko looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nakamura drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nakamura jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakamura is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jemilenko is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jemilenko has escaped and now he's on top! Jemilenko slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Nakamura is looking for a sweep. Jemilenko throwing shots but missing, from side control. Jemilenko trying to control the action but Nakamura is working from the bottom. Nakamura seems a little lost for a moment, as Jemilenko dominates the positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jemilenko tries to advance to mount but Nakamura denies him. Jemilenko is breathing heavily. Nakamura tries to buck Jemilenko off but Jemilenko is having none of it. Nakamura is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Nakamura sneaks back into half guard. Nakamura looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jemilenko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nakamura does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jemilenko with the ground and pound but Nakamura uses the opportunity to regain guard. Nakamura isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jemilenko stacks Nakamura on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jemilenko! Nakamura is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jemilenko tries for a kimura but Nakamura is defending well. Nakamura is looking to regain half guard here but Jemilenko keeps moving and retains side control. Nakamura manages to get back to half guard. Nakamura actively working from the bottom here. Nakamura looking for submissions from an awkward position here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nakamura looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Daisuke Nakamura will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jemilenko misses with a series of wild punches.
A slow jab from Nakamura misses its intended target. Nakamura jabs Jemilenko right on the nose. Jemilenko blinks but takes it well. Nakamura scores with the left hand. Jemilenko knows he should have avoided that one. Nakamura slips under a jab from Jemilenko. Jemilenko manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nakamura on his heels. He'll look to pass Nakamura's guard now, I'm sure. Jemilenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nakamura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jemilenko has managed to get both his arms back between Nakamura's legs - danger averted. Nakamura is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Nakamura bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jemilenko's head backwards.

Jemilenko defending well as Nakamura loads up on a big left hand. Jemilenko on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Jemilenko moves out of range as Nakamura strikes. Jemilenko drives through with a takedown into Nakamura's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Nakamura is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jemilenko frees his head nicely. Oh but Nakamura has switched to an armbar! Jemilenko is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
