Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bernie Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Bernie Mac has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bernie Mac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Glen Davis! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Davis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mac avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mac. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mac thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mac trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Mac will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Davis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mac slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Mac makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Davis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Mac loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Davis keeping moving, preventing Mac from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mac lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mac wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving. Davis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Davis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Davis throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bernie Mac. Mac has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mac there as he acknowledges the shot. Nice shot lands for Mac.
It looks like Glen Davis has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mac throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Davis feints and as Mac raises his hands in defense, Davis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Mac is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mac working a defensive guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis with a flurry of punches that miss. Mac lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Davis! Mac looking to control but Davis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Davis is trying to escape the mount.
Davis manages to regain half guard. Good work. Davis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mac pulls his head out easily. Mac takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Davis is trying to maintain the position but Mac is very close to passing his half guard. Davis is trying is best to control the position here. Mac is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Davis is just riding it out for now. Mac eventually gives up the hold.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac is thwarting Davis's attempts to control the position. Mac trying to control the action but Davis is working from the bottom. Davis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Mac prevents Davis from improving his position. Davis throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Mac manages to pass to side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mac wants to control but Davis is keeping him busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Davis striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

Davis connects with a jab. Davis scores a takedown into full mount! Mac has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mac tries to hold on but Davis postures up. Mac taking shots to the head. Davis swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mac is now in Davis's guard. A big mistake from Davis there, giving up the dominant position! Davis throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davis can do anything to dispel that myth. Mac's corner is telling him to maintain position. Mac got a little sloppy there for a moment and Davis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mac has managed to get both his arms back between Davis's legs - danger averted. Davis is trying to control the position but Mac postures up. Davis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mac won't allow Davis to sweep him here. Mac is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Mac wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving. Bernie Mac overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Davis wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Mac is now in half guard. Davis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mac gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mac controls from within his opponent's guard. Mac wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Davis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mac controls the pace. Mac postures up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bernie Mac will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Glen Davis's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Mac bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davis's guard. Mac connects with a couple of short punches. The crowd are loving this. Mac passes Davis's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Mac works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Mac cracks Davis with a big elbow. Mac wants to control but Davis is keeping him busy. Mac moves into full mount! Mac trying to control but he's not successful this time. Mac pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Davis holds on for dear life, controlling Mac's posture momentarily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davis is desperately trying to improve his position but Mac has a good base and remains in mount. Mac with the ground and pound from mount. Mac trying to control but Davis is having none of it. Davis takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

That has opened up Glen Davis's cut even more. Davis tries to lock up and control but Mac gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mac lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Davis hang on? Bernie Mac is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The cut above Glen Davis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac looking to control but Davis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Mac sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Mac seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Davis for as long as he can get away with. Glen Davis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mac wants to control the pace but Davis is squirming around nicely. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that's the end of the fight! Bernie Mac showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mac, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
