Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Koshi Tatsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mikey Kim is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Koshi Tatsu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikey Kim! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.

Tatsu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kim circles away. Tatsu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kim as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koshi Tatsu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tatsu shoots in for a double leg but Kim sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kim looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tatsu tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tatsu preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kim seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tatsu keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully. Kim trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tatsu's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Tatsu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

and Kim decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tatsu's guard. Tatsu has momentary wrist control but Kim slips an elbow through the middle.
Kim stands and steps away. Tatsu gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kim scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kim looks gassed! Tatsu is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kim off and has taken his back! Kim trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Tatsu patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kim controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Kim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tatsu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kim is trying to roll into a better position but Tatsu has get a rear naked choke and Kim is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
