Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruki Pushki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Kvasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kvasov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Diskoteka avaria-Nebo. Roman Kvasov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruki Pushki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Kvasov! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Kvasov.
Kvasov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pushki blocks a head kick by Kvasov.
Pushki closes the distance and clinches up with Kvasov, looking for a takedown. Pushki pushes Kvasov against the cage but Kvasov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kvasov misses with a body shot.
Pushki staying out of range there. Kvasov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pushki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kvasov sees it coming and avoids it easily. Pushki fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kvasov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pushki shoots in looking for a takedown but Kvasov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pushki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruki Pushki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pushki on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kvasov. Kvasov obviously looking to wear him down.
Pushki is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kvasov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kvasov throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circle momentarily. Kvasov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A looping hook to the body misses from Kvasov. Pushki does a little dance to reset his feet. Kvasov missing with a left hand there. Pushki was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kvasov, right into the meat.
Pushki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kvasov. This has been an exciting period of action! Oooooh!!! Kvasov has knocked Pushki down with a huge combo! Kvasov steps away and waves a wobbly Pushki back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Pushki is rocked! Kvasov throws a powerful right kick. Pushki tried to block low but the kick was high! Pushki was taken right off of his feet! Kvasov jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Roman Kvasov!
