Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khalid Nordin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khal Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khal Drogo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Khalid Nordin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Khal Drogo!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nordin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nordin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Drogo throws a nice looking combination but Nordin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Drogo stalks Nordin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nordin's face. Nordin staggers backwards, shaken.
Nordin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drogo tries to avoid it but Nordin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drogo to the ground. Drogo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Drogo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nordin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nordin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Drogo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nordin somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khalid Nordin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Drogo leaves Nordin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Drogo tries to clinch up.
Drogo clinches up with Nordin and pushes him back against the cage.

Drogo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Drogo rushes Nordin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Drogo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nordin gets control of Drogo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nordin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Nordin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Drogo controls the pace.
Nordin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Drogo is aware though and is defending well.

Nordin is really struggling to control Drogo but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Drogo looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Drogo wants to stand but Nordin is controlling his posture from full guard.
Drogo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nordin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Drogo wants to control from the top but Nordin keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nordin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Khalid Nordin wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Nordin shoots in for a takedown but Drogo shows good takedown defense.
Drogo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Drogo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Drogo scores with a body shot.
Nordin is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Drogo lands a big uppercut and Nordin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nordin looks OK. Drogo waves Nordin back to his feet!
Nordin is rocked!
Nordin gets tackled into the cage by Drogo. Drogo maintains the clinch.
Oh Nordin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Drogo lands a big right hand that drops Nordin! The killer instinct kicks in and Drogo finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Drogo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khal Drogo!
