Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Hosking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conway Twatty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hosking comes to the cage accompanied by War Machine. Twatty comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Alice in Chains: Man In The Box kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matthew Hosking! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Conway Twatty! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hosking scores with a takedown into Twatty's guard. Twatty is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hosking stands up from Twatty's guard - Hosking perhaps looking for a knockout. Twatty looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hosking is fending him off so far but Twatty persists. Nope, Hosking circles away and we're back to standing. Matthew Hosking seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Twatty throws a sloppy head kick and Hosking moves out of range easily. Hosking throws a right and a left that both miss. Twatty checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A chopping leg kick lands by Twatty. Twatty moves out of range of the body kick from Hosking.
Hosking throws a combination that misses and Twatty counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Hosking misses with the combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hosking has closed the distance and engaged Twatty in a clinch.
Hosking lands a takedown into guard.
Twatty throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hosking uses it to pass to side control.
Twatty avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hosking. Twatty tries to buck Hosking off but Hosking is having none of it. Hosking stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hosking tries to land a front kick but Twatty steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Twatty throws a leg kick and Hosking counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fight stays on the outside here - Hosking looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Twatty fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hosking avoids it really well and circles away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Twatty shoots in but no luck this time. Matthew Hosking has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conway Twatty. Hosking has Twatty up against the cage in a clinch.
Hosking has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Twatty is trying to keep an underhook but Hosking manages to get the takedown into half guard. Twatty is staying active underneath Hosking, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hosking stalling. Hosking wants to pass the guard but Twatty is defending well.

Twatty looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hosking is figuring out what he wants to do next. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Matthew Hosking. Hosking misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hosking is looking to clinch. Hosking throws a chopping leg kick but Twatty manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Twatty misses with a takedown attempt - Hosking sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fight stays on the outside here - Hosking looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Twatty swings for the body but Hosking moves out of range.

Hosking stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hosking wants it to stay on the feet. Hosking doesn't manage to clinch there - Twatty circles away.
Hosking closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Twatty quickly recovers to half guard. Well, if Hosking is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Twatty is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hosking pulls his head out easily. Hosking has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Twatty keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hosking is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Twatty is surviving well by controlling Hosking's body position as best he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Twatty gets back to half guard. Twatty moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hosking wants to control from the top but Twatty keeps moving. Twatty working for submissions but it's allowed Hosking to get to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hosking decides to stand and escape the position. Hosking scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hosking performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hosking throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hosking trying to control from Twatty's half guard. Twatty has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Twatty is looking for a triangle here but Hosking uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Hosking is trying to get an arm triangle but Twatty is defending well. Twatty regains half guard. Matthew Hosking overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Twatty actively working from the bottom here. Twatty misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Hosking wants to take a breather but Twatty is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Twatty wants to get back to full guard. Hosking trying to control from half guard but Twatty is working away. It looks like Hosking is going to stand back up.

Matthew Hosking has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Twatty moves out of range of the body kick. Matthew Hosking is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hosking pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Twatty back to the cage. Hosking follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Twatty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Matthew Hosking dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Twatty keeps the fight on the outside. Twatty takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Hosking misses with the combination.
An inside leg kick lands from Twatty. Hosking fails in his attempt to clinch. A good leg kick by Twatty. Twatty fails to land the takedown. Twatty walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hosking checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Hosking loads up on a big right hand but Twatty slips the punch. Hosking tries to clinch up but Twatty circles away and keeps his distance. Hosking lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Hosking fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hosking throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hosking chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Twatty can pounce on him.
Hosking fails to land with a series of punches.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hosking ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Twatty moves away. Twatty circles away from the clinch attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Twatty.
Hosking looking to score a takedown here. Twatty is defending well but Hosking drives through and ends up in Twatty's guard. Twatty has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hosking can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Twatty had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hosking defends it easily. Twatty lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hosking! Conway Twatty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Twatty jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hosking is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hosking and Twatty has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Hosking on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hosking tries to get out of the position. Hosking throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Hosking sneaks back into half guard. Twatty is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hosking defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Twatty wants to pass the guard but Hosking is defending well. Twatty is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hosking has one foot on Twatty's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Twatty gets tackled into the cage by Hosking. Hosking maintains the clinch. Twatty has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Hosking lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Twatty tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hosking's elbow. A nice right hand lands inside from Hosking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hosking has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Twatty clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Hosking biding his time, looking for the opening.
Hosking doesn't have the hooks in and Twatty manages to turn into his guard.
Hosking keeping moving, preventing Twatty from controlling successfully. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hosking not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hosking is looking to stand up but Twatty isn't so interested in that idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Matthew Hosking showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hosking has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
