Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Allan Bautista! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Koji Hisaki! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hisaki tries to keep at a distance but Bautista has taken the fight into the clinch. Bautista pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bautista shoots in for a takedown but Hisaki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bautista shoots for a takedown but Hisaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hisaki takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
The fight stays on the outside here - Hisaki looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hisaki tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bautista counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bautista. Bautista breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bautista will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Allan Bautista. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hisaki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Koji Hisaki. Bautista defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hisaki. Bautista clinches with his opponent.
Hisaki is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Bautista can't fight it off and eventually Hisaki manages to take the fight to the floor. Bautista looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bautista utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hisaki wants to stand but Bautista has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Bautista keeping full guard, as Hisaki tries to pass. Bautista wants to get back to his feet but Hisaki is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hisaki wants to control from the top but Bautista keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bautista avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hisaki looking to sit in guard and control but Bautista gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hisaki wants to stand and escape but Bautista is having none of it. Bautista knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hisaki on the ground. Hisaki looks gassed! Bautista trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hisaki's guard. Hisaki manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Hisaki shoots in but no luck this time. Bautista rushes Hisaki and presses him up against the ropes.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hisaki tries to score a body lock takedown but Bautista shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Bautista manages to break the clinch.
Bautista moves in looking to clinch but Hisaki pushes him off. Bautista misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. No luck for Bautista with that takedown attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hisaki stuffs the takedown attempt from Bautista. Bautista gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Koji Hisaki will probably get the nod. That's time! Bautista's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bautista manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hisaki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bautista but Bautista pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bautista shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hisaki as he jumps to the side. Bautista lands a lovely overhand right. Bautista forces Hisaki back against the ropes and clinches. Bautista gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hisaki.
Allan Bautista has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koji Hisaki. Hisaki can't get the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hisaki is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Bautista gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Hisaki is breathing heavily. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Bautista manages to break the clinch.
Bautista throws a nice inside leg kick. Bautista displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Bautista shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bautista was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hisaki tries to lock up and control but Bautista gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hisaki is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Crunch! Bautista slams his shin into Hisaki's torso. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bautista moves into range and clinches up with Hisaki. Hisaki is trying to break free. Bautista breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bautista moves into the clinch. Bautista breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hisaki dives in and grabs Bautista's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bautista pushes down on Hisaki's head and hops out. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bautista.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Bautista here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. This has been an exciting period of action! Bautista was covering up waiting for the punch and Hisaki finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hisaki won't allow Bautista to get back to his feet. Hisaki drops back looking for a leg! Bautista is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bautista manages to kick Hisaki off! Hisaki jumps back into Bautista's guard.

Bautista lands a right hand. Hisaki tries to pull guard but Bautista won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Koji Hisaki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hisaki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
