Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Saku Thirtynine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Joe Joe jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thirtynine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Speed 2 Remix by Tetsuya Komura . Joe Joe jr has chosen Moyuru (Sprouting) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Saku Thirtynine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joey Joe Joe jr! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe Joe jr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Thirtynine paws at him with a jab and circles away. Joe Joe jr gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Joe Joe jr keeping moving, preventing Thirtynine from controlling successfully. Thirtynine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Thirtynine looking to pass the guard. Thirtynine passes Joe Joe jr's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe Joe jr is refusing to be controlled, as Thirtynine sits in half guard. Thirtynine is working for a submission of some sort.
Thirtynine is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe Joe jr is staying active underneath Thirtynine, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Thirtynine is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Saku Thirtynine just wasn't active enough. Thirtynine misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Joe Joe jr closes the distance looking to clinch and Thirtynine counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thirtynine trying to pass the guard but Joe Joe jr defending well. Thirtynine passes to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thirtynine wants to lay and pray for a moment but Joe Joe jr keeps working. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Joe Joe jr can do anything to dispel that myth. Thirtynine wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Joe Joe jr, who protects the arm well. Thirtynine is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Joe Joe jr has escaped the position, nice work there. Thirtynine looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thirtynine working the ground and pound. Thirtynine fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thirtynine trying to control the action but Joe Joe jr is working from the bottom. Thirtynine misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saku Thirtynine dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Thirtynine throws a nice looking combination but Joe Joe jr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Joe Joe jr takes one to the chin there. Joe Joe jr tries to sprawl but Thirtynine drives through with a takedown into half guard. Thirtynine seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Joe Joe jr is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
