The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yodsuwan shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Yodsuwan throws a quick inside leg kick.

Sorenson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Yodsuwan has time to react.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Yodsuwan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sorenson - the referee stops the clock and Yodsuwan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sorenson. Yodsuwan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Tham Boon Yodsuwan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nate Sorenson.
