Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tashiro Mangara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane MacLain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacLain has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Shane MacLain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane MacLain!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacLain misses with a takedown attempt
so Mangara counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mangara gets to his feet. MacLain looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mangara tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but MacLain was well out of range. Poor timing from Mangara.
Mangara lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
MacLain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mangara as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown by MacLain or perhaps it was just good defense by Mangara which made him look bad.
Tashiro Mangara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane MacLain.

Mangara fails with a takedown attempt.
Mangara leaves MacLain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

MacLain fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
MacLain shoots in and drives through. Mangara sprawls well.
MacLain shoots in looking for a takedown. Mangara tries to sprawl out of it but MacLain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Mangara manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
MacLain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mangara pinned against the ropes. Mangara gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mangara swats away the attempt to clinch by MacLain.

Mangara shoots in for a takedown but MacLain shows good takedown defense.
Mangara lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mangara.
It looks like Shane MacLain has been cut.
Mangara blocks a head kick by MacLain.
MacLain wants to clinch but Mangara slips to the side
and Mangara counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mangara.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
MacLain is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mangara is defending well for now.
Mangara wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mangara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mangara shoots in for a takedown but MacLain shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mangara connects with a jab.

MacLain avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mangara darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
MacLain fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mangara avoids it really well and circles away.
Mangara clobbers MacLain with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mangara drops MacLain with a naaaaasty hook - MacLain is in real trouble here! Mangara dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tashiro Mangara!
