Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramsey Nijem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gage Ruehlen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ramsey Nijem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nijem takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ruehlen closes the distance and clinches.
Ruehlen pushes Nijem back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Ruehlen jumps into guard, dragging Nijem to the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Nijem is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ruehlen is just riding it out for now. Nijem eventually gives up the hold.

Nijem stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruehlen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Nijem counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Ramsey Nijem will probably get the nod.
That's time! Nijem's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

After the fight, Gage Ruehlen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
