The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustang shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nogueira napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Mustang wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nogueira , who protects the arm well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mustang is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nogueira looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mustang gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nogueira is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mustang lets go of the hold and Nogueira can pop his arm back in it's socket.
