Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kenji Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sammy Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang throws the kick towards the body but Jackson avoids it.

Jackson forces Kang back against the cage and clinches.

Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kang cracks the inside of Jackson's front leg.
Kang tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kang somewhat.
Jackson avoids a kick to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kang throws a solid leg kick but Jackson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kang.

Jackson rushes Kang and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jackson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kang throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jackson's head.


It looks like Sammy Jackson has been cut.

Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kang.

Jackson darts in and clinches Kang up against the cage.

Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kang swings for the body but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson avoids the body shot from Kang.
Jackson misses with a head kick.
Kang dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Kang's head and hops out.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Jackson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kang throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
Kang misses with a body shot.

Jackson takes the fight into the clinch.
Jackson misses with a knee to the head.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kang misses the shot to the body.
Kang takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


It looks like Kenji Kang has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A leg kick checked by Jackson.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Kang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kang shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenji Kang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kang fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kang is breathing heavily.

Jackson lands a big head kick that sends Kang tumbling to the mat! Jackson takes a step backwards and waves Kang back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jackson clinches up with Kang and pushes him back against the cage.

Kang misses with a straight left.

Kang gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch.

Kang misses with a kick to the body.
Kang takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Jackson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Kang rushes Jackson and presses him up against the cage.

Kang tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Jackson breaks the clinch.
Kang shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kang is looking to wear down Jackson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Jackson darts in and clinches Kang up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jackson breaks the clinch.

Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.

Jackson manages to break the clinch.
Kang thows a left - swing and a miss!

Jackson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Jackson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kang, pushing him back against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jackson blocks a head kick by Kang.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sammy Jackson dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Kang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kang moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Jackson dodges the punch combination from Kang.
Kang misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kenji Kang is winning the standup battle so far.
Kang avoids the head kick by Jackson.
Kang throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Kang knocks Jackson out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kenji Kang!
