Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kirk Vaux!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Daniels coming out on top.
Daniels throws a hook but Vaux avoids it easily.

Daniels closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Daniels not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Vaux blocking the ground and pound attempt from Daniels.
Well, if Daniels is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Daniels throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Vaux is trying to stand up here but Daniels is controlling him well.
Vaux works his way to full guard. Good work.
Daniels throws a strike but Vaux rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Daniels counters with a shoot takedown. Vaux fights it but they end up in guard.

Daniels is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vaux is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Vaux is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Daniels defends well.

Vaux wants to sweep here but Daniels controlling him for the moment.
Daniels is looking to work some ground and pound but Vaux has wrist control.

Daniels throws and elbow that misses. Vaux uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Daniels's guard. Nice move by Vaux!

Daniels kicks Vaux off and gets to his feet.
Daniels tries to bum rush Vaux with a series of wild strikes but Vaux uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vaux throws a poor cross that misses

and Daniels counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Vaux!
Daniels lands a big shot there that rocks Vaux but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Daniels prevents Vaux from getting the reversal.
Daniels pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Vaux is fighting off a takedown attempt but Daniels is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Vaux to the mat. Vaux regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jack Daniels.
Vaux tried to score with a low kick but Daniels checks it.

Vaux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Daniels swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nice straight punches there by Daniels. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Daniels.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Daniels, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
