Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bone Dust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Cattermole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dust might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pinch Me. Danny Cattermole is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bone Dust!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Cattermole!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cattermole shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dust napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dust is trying to control Cattermole's posture but Cattermole avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cattermole tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cattermole has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Dust manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Cattermole is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dust doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cattermole.
Dust is trying to maintain the position but Cattermole is very close to passing his half guard.

Cattermole is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dust defends it well.
Cattermole really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dust. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cattermole is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dust has managed to free his arm - good work.
Cattermole is looking for a kimura but Dust is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cattermole to get the leverage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dust wants to sweep here but Cattermole controlling him for the moment.

Dust is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cattermole is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Cattermole stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dust swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dust wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Cattermole is now in half guard.
Cattermole wants to pass the guard but Dust is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cattermole looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dust!
Dust tries to lock up and control but Cattermole gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cattermole swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dust is now in Cattermole's guard. A big mistake from Cattermole there, giving up the dominant position!

Cattermole is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Dust drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cattermole dives on top into guard.

Cattermole stands and steps away. Dust gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Cattermole closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cattermole has an Americana. Dust didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cattermole is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cattermole hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
