Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pete Squall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pete Squall! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gray Morrison! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morrison tries to close the distance and clinch but Squall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Morrison looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A lazy left from Squall finds it's target. Squall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Squall drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Squall in side control, just content to control the action for now. Squall decides to stand back up. Squall fails to land with a series of punches.
Morrison fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morrison steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Squall. That one must have hurt. Squall clinches. Squall pulls guard successfully.
Squall is pulling down on Morrison's head. It's preventing any offense from Morrison, at least for the moment. Squall looking to hit a scissor sweep but Morrison is one step ahead there. Squall is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Morrison is controlling him. Squall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Squall wants to sweep here but Morrison controlling him for the moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Squall kicks Morrison off and gets to his feet. Morrison takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Morrison is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Squall connects with a high kick. Squall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Morrison manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Morrison wants to stand and escape but Squall is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morrison has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Squall has passed into side control.
Squall decides to stand back up. Squall is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Morrison's half guard. Morrison is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Squall wants to stand but Morrison has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morrison wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morrison wants to control but Squall is keeping busy and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Squall is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Squall throws a one two combo.
Squall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Squall content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Morrison wants to control the action here but instead Squall manages to pass to full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pete Squall dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Squall darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Squall with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Morrison trying to hold on to Squall's head to control him but Squall postures up.
Squall wants to stand but Morrison has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Pete Squall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Morrison is breathing heavily. Squall is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Pete Squall just wasn't active enough. Squall closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morrison's guard. Squall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Morrison throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Squall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Squall wants to get up but he can't break Morrison's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pete Squall has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Squall has closed the distance and engaged Morrison in a clinch.
Squall manages to break the clinch.
Squall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Squall throws the kick towards the body but Morrison avoids it. That kick from Squall tenderised Morrison's leg. Morrison is trying to keep his angry face on. Squall closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morrison's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Squall is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Pete Squall has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. A punch combination from Squall misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morrison takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Squall throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Morrison on the side of the head. Squall shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Morrison looks like he's trying to stand up.

Squall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morrison on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Squall wants to get back to his feet.
Morrison tries to get to full guard but Squall has control of the leg. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morrison is trying to stand up here but Squall is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pete Squall dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Morrison avoids a punch combination nicely.
Squall lands a head shot. Pete Squall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Squall manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Morrison on his heels. He'll look to pass Morrison's guard now, I'm sure. Squall is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Pete Squall. Squall throws a right and a left that both miss. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Squall delivers a nice body kick. Squall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Squall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Squall sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Squall has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Squall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Morrison can do to turn this around?

Morrison has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Squall fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Squall feints and as Morrison raises his hands in defense, Squall changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Squall wants to pass the guard but Morrison is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Squall postures up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Gray Morrison hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Squall lands with a slapping head kick. Pete Squall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Squall misses with a two punch combination.
Squall lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Morrison pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Squall throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Squall gets the takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morrison is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pete Squall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Morrison can't do much from the bottom here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Morrison wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
And that's the end of the fight! Pete Squall showed his dominance in that final round. Well Squall has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
