Goode comes into a darkened arena with his song building. . kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sol Goode has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tito Ortiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sol Goode!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goode dodges the punch combination from Ortiz.
Goode throws a sloppy head kick and Ortiz moves out of range easily.
Goode tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ortiz counters with a series of strikes. Goode will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ortiz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ortiz wants it to stay on the feet.
Ortiz misses with a takedown attempt - Goode sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Ortiz throws a right hand that Goode ducks under and follows up with a left that Goode also avoids with ease.
Goode shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ortiz lands with a straight right. Goode didn't see that one coming.
Goode tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ortiz paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ortiz sizes up Goode with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Ortiz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ortiz decides to stand up, so the ref orders Goode to his feet.
Goode dives in and grabs Ortiz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ortiz pushes down on Goode's head and hops out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sol Goode seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Goode jumps guard but Ortiz stands there with Goode around his waist. Goode gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ortiz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Goode gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ortiz tries to circle away but Goode has him pinned against the cage.

Ortiz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goode moves away.
Goode fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ortiz avoids it really well and circles away.
Ortiz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goode sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ortiz somewhat.
Ortiz dives in and scores a takedown into Goode's guard.

Ortiz throws and elbow that misses. Goode uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ortiz's guard. Nice move by Goode!

Goode is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ortiz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Goode is looking to defend but Ortiz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Goode! Ortiz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Goode taps out and this one is all over!
