The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed misses with a takedown
and Yashigawa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yashigawa closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Creed quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Creed wants to get back to his feet.
Yashigawa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Creed keeps working.
Yashigawa winds up and cracks Creed with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Creed makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Creed.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Creed looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Creed looking for a triangle here. Yashigawa is fighting it but it looks tight! Creed pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Yashigawa is tapping out - this one is all over!
