Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan OReily (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alexander Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryan OReily! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva thows a body kick. OReily tries to catch it but that hurt him. Silva throws a head kick that misses. A punch combination from Silva misses. Silva throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from OReily, before circling back to the center of the mat. OReily shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Silva.
OReily has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Silva. This has been an exciting period of action! OReily shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Alexander Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan OReily. Silva connects with an inside leg kick. OReily looks gassed! Silva throws an ugly left hook that misses
and OReily counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Silva is trying to escape and get back to his feet. OReily working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. OReily tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. OReily is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Silva has escaped the position, nice work there. OReily tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. OReily is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. OReily tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no OReily has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. OReily goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Silva rolls with the submission and now he's on top in OReily's guard! Nice work there by Silva! OReily is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but OReily is tightening it up a little... Silva has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Silva reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Silva taps out! Nice BJJ there by OReily!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Ryan OReily! Ryan OReily decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
