Lawson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Montros closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Montros lands in his opponent's guard.
Montros postures up and lands a big shot to Lawson's brow.
Lawson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Montros throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lawson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Montros trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lawson wants to stand and escape but Montros is having none of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lawson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Montros has his hands clasped together but Lawson extends an breaks Montros's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Lawson.
