Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rassberry Juice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Zamiatin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zamiatin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tuvinian Singing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rassberry Juice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sasha Zamiatin!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juice throws a nice head kick!
Juice feints and as Zamiatin raises his hands in defense, Juice changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Zamiatin pushes Juice off and scrambles back to his feet.
Juice throws a looping overhand right but Zamiatin ducks down to avoid it.
Nice sprawl there from Juice as Zamiatin shoots in.
Zamiatin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Juice as he avoids it easily.

Rassberry Juice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sasha Zamiatin.
Juice looks to throw the jab but Zamiatin is out of range.
Zamiatin closes the distance and clinches up with Juice, looking for a takedown. Zamiatin pushes Juice against the cage but Juice circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sasha Zamiatin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zamiatin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Zamiatin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Juice connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Zamiatin momentarily.

and Juice counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Juice changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zamiatin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Juice is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zamiatin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Juice wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zamiatin, who protects the arm well.

Juice takes a little break here. Zamiatin wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Juice is trying to move to mount but Zamiatin reverses beautifully and ends up in Juice's guard.
Juice is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Juice has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Zamiatin is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Juice is defending well though. Zamiatin let's go of the attempt for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Juice rolls, trying to escape but Zamiatin keeps control of the position.
Juice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zamiatin on the ground.

Zamiatin is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Juice drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Juice jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Rassberry Juice will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zamiatin is defended easily by Juice.
Juice throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Juice closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Juice is working for a kimura but Zamiatin is defending it quite comfortably.
Zamiatin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Juice stuns Zamiatin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Juice looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Zamiatin has picked Juice up and slammed him! Juice can't keep hold of the triangle and Zamiatin manages to pass to side control!
Zamiatin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zamiatin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Juice is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Zamiatin is working for a rear naked choke. Juice is not defending it well and Zamiatin has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Juice refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Juice's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
