Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yayutee Da Gama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yayutee Da Gama! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop blocks a head kick by Da Gama.
Bishop dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Da Gama shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bishop as he jumps to the side. Bishop throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bishop lands a jab-cross combination. Da Gama fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Da Gama closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Da Gama stops Bishop from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Da Gama wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bishop keeps working. Bishop pushes Da Gama off looking to stand but Da Gama dives back in and keeps control.
Da Gama decides to return to a standing position. Bishop pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Da Gama shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bishop as he jumps to the side. Shane Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yayutee Da Gama. Da Gama takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Da Gama closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bishop looks to land a combination but Da Gama avoids it well. Bishop tries to keep at a distance but Da Gama has taken the fight into the clinch. Da Gama looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Da Gama.
Da Gama jumps guard but Bishop stands there with Da Gama around his waist. Da Gama gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Da Gama is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bishop has had enough of the clinch but Da Gama keeps him there for the moment. Da Gama keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bishop's efforts to push away. Bishop working hard to break the clinch. Bishop is trying to break the clinch but Da Gama has him pressed against the cage. Bishop wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Da Gama has him pressed against the cage. Da Gama prevents Bishop from breaking the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Da Gama fails to pull guard.
Bishop is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Da Gama tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bishop smiles and moves away.
Bishop lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bishop pushes Da Gama up against the cage in a clinch. Bishop fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bishop wants to break free but Da Gama has control.
Bishop is trying to force a seperation but Da Gama has the dominant position. Bishop gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Da Gama.
Bishop is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
That's four minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Da Gama. Da Gama goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bishop prevents it.
Bishop is trying to break the clinch but Da Gama is controlling him. Da Gama keeps control of Bishop as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bishop breaks from the clinch.
Bishop throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Da Gama stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Da Gama misses with a takedown attempt - Bishop sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bishop lands with a good body shot. Da Gama looks gassed! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Da Gama throws a lazy right hand but Bishop sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bishop lunges at Da Gama with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Da Gama's hand. Bishop drops Da Gama with a beautiful combination! Da Gama stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bishop is looking for the KO!
Da Gama is rocked! Bishop lands with a big right hook that stumbles Da Gama - he's out on his feet here! Bishop follows up with another monster hook that separates Da Gama from consciousness! Da Gama falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Bishop stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Shane Bishop! Shane Bishop decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
