and Chojnicki counters with a thumping low kick.
Laurier avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Chojnicki lands a nice looking kick to the body. Laurier takes a step back to recover.
Laurier throws an overhand right that lands on Chojnicki's shoulder, as Chojnicki tries to avoid the shot.

Chojnicki throws a front kick aimed at Laurier's knee but Laurier avoids it well.
Laurier misses with an uppercut. Chojnicki saw that one coming.
Chojnicki scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Chojnicki counters with a nice low kick that buckles Laurier's knee momentarily.

Laurier goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Chojnicki stalling in the clinch but Laurier improves position.
A short body shot lands from Laurier as the two fighters clinch.

Laurier can't find room to land a body shot as Chojnicki controls the action.
Chojnicki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Laurier is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Chojnicki's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Laurier swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Laurier tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chojnicki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Laurier somewhat.

Chojnicki shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Good leg kick by Chojnicki there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Chojnicki throws a wild body kick that Laurier sees coming a mile off.

Laurier changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chojnicki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Laurier tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Chojnicki can't do much from the bottom here.

Laurier tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Laurier has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Laurier controls the position from side control.
Chojnicki is trying to control Laurier's posture but Laurier avoids it.

Chojnicki is not content to let Laurier control the position.
Laurier thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Laurier tries for a kimura but Chojnicki is defending well.

Chojnicki is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Laurier's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Laurier! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Chojnicki has tapped! This one is allllll over!
