Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brady Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Moxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonathan Moxon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brady Harrison's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brady Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Jonathan Moxon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison tries to clinch up.
Harrison lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moxon circles away quickly and effectively.
Harrison blocks a head kick by Moxon.
Harrison avoids the body shot from Moxon.
Moxon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harrison.
Moxon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Harrison sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Moxon throws a series of punches but Harrison moves out of range.

Harrison moves into range and clinches up with Moxon.
Harrison has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Moxon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Moxon misses with a hook to the ribs.

Harrison pulls guard successfully.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Moxon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Harrison dives on top into guard.

Moxon wants to sweep here but Harrison controlling him for the moment.
Harrison trying to control the position from guard on top but Moxon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Harrison postures up in Moxon's guard and throws a big left but Moxon blocks it.

Moxon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harrison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harrison manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Moxon wants to sweep here but Harrison controlling him for the moment.

Moxon manages to escape and get back to his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Moxon.
Moxon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harrison manages to avoid it.
Harrison uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Moxon.
Moxon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Some bone on bone action there as Harrison checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A clash of legs there as Harrison blocks the low kick.
Harrison takes a swing at Moxon's ribcage but misses.
Jonathan Moxon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moxon throws the kick towards the body but Harrison avoids it.
Moxon misses the shot to the body.
Harrison fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harrison looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Harrison is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Harrison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Moxon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harrison can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Harrison drops back looking for a leg! Moxon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moxon manages to kick Harrison off! Harrison jumps back into Moxon's guard.

Harrison drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Moxon is on top in guard.
Moxon is fighting to break Harrison's control of his arms but Harrison is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Moxon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Harrison dives on top into guard.

Moxon is looking for a triangle here but Harrison uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Harrison is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moxon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Moxon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Harrison pushes Moxon up against the cage in a clinch.
Moxon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Harrison.

Harrison turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Harrison manages to end up in side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moxon is trying to get back to half guard.
Moxon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Harrison off and has taken his back!
You can see the frustration on Harrison's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Harrison drops back looking for a leg! Moxon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moxon manages to kick Harrison off! Harrison jumps back into Moxon's guard.
Moxon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harrison's guard.
Moxon lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Moxon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrison swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moxon throws a big right hand that misses.

Moxon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Harrison looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Harrison looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Harrison!
Harrison is looking to take a break and control but Moxon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brady Harrison has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Harrison is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Moxon has escaped the position, nice work there.
Moxon is working to avoid the ground and pound but Harrison connects with a decent elbow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moxon tries to bench press Harrison off him but Harrison keeps the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harrison thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brady Harrison.
I think Moxon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
