Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: eye of the tiger. Clarke is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Leon Clarke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matthew James! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James forces Clarke back against the cage and clinches. Clarke is breathing heavily. A short right hand to the side of the head by Clarke. James drops down looking for an ankle pick but Clarke pulls his leg out and moves away.
Clarke throws a right and a left that both miss. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from James. James clinches up with Clarke and pushes him back against the cage. James lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. James lands a nice knee to the body. Knees to the body from James.
James unloads a knee to the mid-section. James gets control of Clarke's arms and successfully pulls guard. James will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Clarke avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. James is trying to drag Clarke to the mat but Clarke just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A shot in the inside from Clarke. Clarke is looking to break free of the clinch but James has double underhooks. With the fighters clinched against the cage, James creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! James avoiding damage.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - James has eaten all the pies! An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Clarke. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Clarke wants to clinch. Clarke wants to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matthew James dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Leon Clarke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Clarke. Clarke swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by James. Clarke takes a kick to the side of the head. James throws a right and a left that Clarke avoids nicely. James shoots for a takedown but Clarke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Clarke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from James. Clarke keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Clarke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Clarke misses with a double jab.

James shoots in for a takedown but Clarke shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clarke tries to bum rush James with a series of wild strikes but James uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Clarke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
James shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clarke as he avoids it easily. James tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Clarke swivels and escapes. Matthew James is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. James gets a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Matthew James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
