Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Potemkin Buster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rick Welsh!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buster misses with a hook
and Welsh counters with a takedown into side control.
Welsh looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Buster is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Welsh off and has taken his back!
Buster is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Welsh is defending well though. Buster let's go of the attempt for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Welsh can't escape the position.
Welsh fending off the submission attempt from Buster.
Welsh is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Welsh tries to escape but Buster has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Welsh is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Buster gets his way!
Buster looking for the RNC.
Buster has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Welsh has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Buster is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Welsh is trying to break free.
Buster is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Buster working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Welsh rolls, trying to escape but Buster keeps control of the position.
Welsh rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Buster is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Welsh is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
