Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tetsu Bodashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tetsu Bodashi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Jones! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones blocks a head kick by Bodashi.
Bodashi tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bodashi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones. Jones showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jones trying to move into half guard but instead Bodashi has managed to sweep! Jones pushes Bodashi off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Bodashi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bodashi thumps Jones with a low kick. Jones blocks a head kick by Bodashi.
Bodashi throws a head kick that misses. Bodashi throws a wild body kick that Jones sees coming a mile off. Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bodashi moves away. Bodashi doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Bodashi closes the distance looking to clinch and Jones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bodashi won't be happy with that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones just content to control the position. Bodashi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Bodashi is trying to get back to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bodashi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bodashi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bodashi is trying to escape the position but Jones is controlling the position. Check out the look on Jones's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Jones is staying tight to Bodashi's torso, preventing him from escaping. Jones misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bodashi keeps working. Bodashi is trying to improve his position. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones slows the pace down. Jones fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Jones lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bodashi down.
Bodashi is looking for a sweep. Jones controlling the position from side mount. Jones working the ground and pound from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Jones dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bodashi tries to clinch but Jones moves away and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bodashi thinking. Jones fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bodashi to the ground. Jones is now in Bodashi's guard. Jones is stalling in the full guard. Jones throws a big right hand that misses. Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Bodashi. Jones engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Jones postures up in Bodashi's guard and throws a big left but Bodashi blocks it. Jones trying to control but Bodashi is working from the bottom. Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jones throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bodashi working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bodashi is trying to keep Jones in close.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bodashi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it. Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bodashi.
Tetsu Bodashi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bodashi circles away. Jones misses with a body shot.
Bodashi tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bodashi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bodashi was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones. Tetsu Bodashi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bodashi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bodashi moves into the clinch. Jones misses with the head strike.
Bodashi lands a damaging elbow. Nice elbow from Bodashi. Bodashi misses with a punch to the body.
Bodashi creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jones's defenses. Bodashi misses with a body punch.

Bodashi using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jones has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Jones wants a takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Jones avoids the elbow strike from Bodashi, against the cage.

Bodashi struggles to land a body shot inside as Jones controls his hands.
Jones trying to control the position but instead, Bodashi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jones into the cage. Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by Bodashi. Bodashi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jones avoids it. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bodashi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tetsu Bodashi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Jones. Jones tries to work over Bodashi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Bodashi throws an elbow but it misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones is trying to trip Bodashi. He has hold of a leg but Bodashi is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jones persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bodashi has his hands on Jones's head, controlling the position. Jones scoring with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jones postures up in Bodashi's guard and throws a big left but Bodashi blocks it. Jones engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bodashi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Michael Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. The fight stays on the outside here - Bodashi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bodashi wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bodashi tries to clinch and Jones counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bodashi tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Jones has a takedown stuffed. Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bodashi has time to react. Bodashi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bodashi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bodashi tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Bodashi moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bodashi's half guard. Jones not doing much here.
Jones is nestled in close to Bodashi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bodashi keeps working. Jones perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bodashi is trying to control but can't.
Bodashi is not content to let Jones control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Michael Jones. Bodashi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tetsu Bodashi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bodashi tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones is staying tight to Bodashi's torso, preventing him from escaping.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
