Machida has chosen the game as his entrance music. Dominickoy Machida looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Kowalski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Dominickoy Machida! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machida instigates a clinch. Machida looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Machida misses with a knee to the head. Machida looking for a takedown. Machida is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kowalski pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kowalski blocks the elbow strike.
Machida misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kowalski.
Kowalski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Machida is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Machida is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kowalski pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jan Kowalski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominickoy Machida. Kowalski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Machida is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Machida wants to break free but Kowalski has control.
Machida is pressed up against the cage. Kowalski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Machida down to the mat. Machida avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Machida shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kowalski sprawls well. Kowalski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Machida gets slowly back to his feet. Machida gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kowalski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kowalski is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kowalski sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Machida's guard. Kowalski wants to work for an arm triangle but Machida is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kowalski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Machida is looking to improve his position.
Kowalski is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Machida is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
