Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fusion Weapon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weapon comes to the cage accompanied by Run This Town Tonight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fusion Weapon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Masters! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters misses with a jab, cross combination.
A combination from Weapon does no damage. Masters is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Weapon. Masters misses with a body kick. Weapon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Masters counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Weapon misses with a few strikes there.
Weapon takes a swing at Masters's ribcage but misses. Weapon misses with a series of wild punches.
Weapon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Weapon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Weapon scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fusion Weapon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Masters throws a nice outside leg kick. Weapon misses with a double jab.

A head kick misses from Masters. No joy there for Weapon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice uppercut lands for Weapon. That snapped Masters's head back.
Weapon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Masters's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Masters trying to keep a closed guard but Weapon is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters keeping full guard, as Weapon tries to pass. Masters looks gassed! Weapon preventing the sweep. Weapon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Masters is keeping the position for now. Masters pulls Weapon in close to his closed guard and prevents Weapon from doing any damage or advancing position. Let's hope that Masters has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Chris Masters hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Sloppy strikes from Weapon. Those never looked like landing. Weapon throws a leg kick but Masters sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weapon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Masters looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Weapon advances to full mount. Weapon working for a submission but Masters is keeping him at bay. Masters tries to hold on but Weapon pushes him away. Masters is wriggling around trying to escape.
Weapon trying to control but Masters is having none of it. Poor strikes thrown by Weapon there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Weapon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Masters's face.
Masters tries to hold on but Weapon pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Masters defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Weapon. Weapon working for a submission but Masters is keeping him at bay. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Weapon working for a guillotine from mount but Masters is in no mood to give up. Weapon goes for an armbar but Masters turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Masters. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Masters wants to control from the top but Weapon keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fusion Weapon dominated that round. That's time! Weapon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Weapon throws a nice looking combination but Masters bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Masters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Masters showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Weapon.

and Masters counters with a lovely straight right hand! Masters missing with a left hand there. Weapon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Weapon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Masters as he avoids it easily. Weapon throws a low kick but Masters avoids it. Masters is looking to land body kicks. Masters throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Weapon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Masters is breathing heavily. Weapon blocks a low kick nicely. Weapon tries to bum rush Masters with a series of wild strikes but Masters uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Weapon throws a series of punches but Masters moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters throws a big shot that misses. Chris Masters is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Some wild striking there from Weapon.

Weapon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A looping hook to the body misses from Weapon. Masters does a little dance to reset his feet. Fusion Weapon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Weapon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Masters moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Weapon misses with a two punch combination.

A solid body kick from Masters. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Weapon is defended easily by Masters. Weapon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Masters misses with a head kick.
Weapon throws a right and a left that both miss. Weapon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Weapon trying to pass the guard but Masters defending well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Weapon is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weapon works a leg free and moves into half guard. Masters is trying to stand up here but Weapon is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Masters is not content to let Weapon control the position. Masters really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weapon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Weapon in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Masters tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Weapon!
