Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maur�cio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Bonaza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rua might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to RZA - Samurai Theme . Carlos Bonaza told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonaza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rua connects with a jab.
Rua throws a low kick but Bonaza moves out of range easily.
Bonaza takes one to the chin there.
Bonaza throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rua.
Rua throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bonaza.

Rua tries to bum rush Bonaza with a series of wild strikes but Bonaza uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bonaza catches Rua with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

That was a close second round but I would say that Maur�cio Rua will probably get the nod.

Rua lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
