Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Milan Diprivan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nolan Sugarlo! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sugarlo tries to clinch up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sugarlo tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Sugarlo pressing his opponent against the cage. Sugarlo lands an elbow just above Diprivan 's eye. Diprivan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sugarlo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Diprivan has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Diprivan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sugarlo has him pressed against the cage. Diprivan is trying to push Sugarlo away but Sugarlo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Sugarlo lands an elbow inside that Diprivan shrugs off.
It looks like Milan Diprivan has been cut. Sugarlo tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Diprivan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sugarlo has him pressed against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Diprivan's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sugarlo scores with a knee to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Diprivan misses with a body kick. Sugarlo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diprivan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sugarlo tries to clinch but Diprivan is having none of it. A solid leg kick lands there for Diprivan.
Diprivan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Nolan Sugarlo has been cut. Sugarlo tries to clinch up. Diprivan swats away the attempt to clinch by Sugarlo. Diprivan plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sugarlo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Diprivan lands a front kick. Sugarlo looks gassed! Diprivan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sugarlo will feel that in the morning. Diprivan scores with a leg kick.

Sugarlo is rocked! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Diprivan looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sugarlo is still in real trouble! Can Diprivan finish him? Diprivan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diprivan stands up and waves to Sugarlo to follow him. Diprivan connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Sugarlo to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Diprivan!
