Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Kilgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Charriot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eric Kilgore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Steve Charriot! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilgore has a takedown stuffed. Charriot leaves Kilgore with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Charriot misses with a wild combination.
Charriot listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Charriot stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Kilgore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kilgore closes the distance and clinches up with Charriot, looking for a takedown. Kilgore pushes Charriot against the cage but Charriot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Charriot sizes up Kilgore with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charriot throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kilgore. Nice body punch from Charriot. Kilgore with a lazy takedown attempt and Charriot counters with a slapping leg kick. Charriot lands with a kick to the ribs.
A decent looking cross lands there for Charriot. A looping hook to the body misses from Charriot. Kilgore does a little dance to reset his feet. Kilgore scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kilgore is looking to take a break and control but Charriot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Charriot is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kilgore off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charriot lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Charriot.
Kilgore breaks Charriot's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Charriot is trying to control the position but Kilgore postures up. Kilgore drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Charriot dives on top into guard. Charriot throwing strikes but missing. Kilgore wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Charriot is now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Charriot working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Charriot connects with a nice short shot to Kilgore's temple. Charriot takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kilgore is refusing to be controlled, as Charriot sits in half guard. Kilgore is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilgore is working hard here to advance position. Kilgore is not content to let Charriot control the position. Kilgore is looking to improve his position.
Charriot wants to pass the guard but Kilgore is defending well. Charriot wants to take a breather but Kilgore is having none of it.
Steve Charriot has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Charriot stuffs the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilgore misses with a takedown attempt and Kilgore takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kilgore fails with a takedown attempt. Steve Charriot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Charriot looks to land a combination but Kilgore avoids it well. Charriot throws a series of punches but Kilgore moves out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Charriot throws a jab but it's blocked by Kilgore. Kilgore shoots in for a double leg but Charriot sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Charriot dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Charriot fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kilgore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Charriot's waist but Charriot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kilgore off to one side. Charriot throws a hook but Kilgore blocks it. Kilgore steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Charriot. Charriot misses with a hook. Kilgore ducked under it nicely. Kilgore avoids a punch combination nicely.
Charriot lands a slapping body shot.
Charriot is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilgore with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Charriot to score with a decent uppercut. Kilgore tries for a takedown but Charriot circles away easily and Charriot counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Charriot scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kilgore shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charriot defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Kilgore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kilgore dives in and grabs Charriot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Charriot pushes down on Kilgore's head and hops out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charriot throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A left and a right from Charriot both land. Nice combination. Sloppy strikes from Charriot. Those never looked like landing. Kilgore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Charriot's waist but Charriot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kilgore off to one side. Kilgore moves away from the strike by Charriot. Charriot fails to land with a series of punches.
Kilgore shoots and misses and Charriot counters with a nice body shot. Kilgore has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charriot wants to clinch up but Kilgore keeps it at a distance. Steve Charriot seems to be getting the better of the standup. Charriot throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Kilgore avoids a punch combination nicely.
Charriot misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by Kilgore or perhaps it was just good defense by Charriot which made him look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Charriot jabbing away but nothing is landing. Charriot moves into the clinch. Charriot scores with a shoulder strike. A short right hand to the side of the head by Charriot. Kilgore wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Charriot has him pressed against the cage. Charriot's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Charriot clinches. Charriot just leaning against Kilgore, taking a breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Charriot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Kilgore misses with a takedown and Charriot counters with a series of strikes. Kilgore will be more careful next time no doubt. A looping hook to the body misses from Charriot. Kilgore does a little dance to reset his feet. Charriot scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Charriot misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kilgore walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Nice takedown defense from Charriot. No joy for Kilgore on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Kilgore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Charriot pushes Kilgore up against the cage in a clinch. Charriot working some nice short punches in the clinch. Charriot breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kilgore shoots in but no luck this time. Kilgore avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Charriot lands a really nice looking cross but Kilgore seems unphased.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charriot lands a jab to the nose. Kilgore shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Charriot but Charriot pushes him off and we're back to square one. Charriot connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kilgore's hands. Charriot gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kilgore wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Charriot has him pressed against the cage. Charriot lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Kilgore working hard to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilgore blocks an elbow strike from Charriot.
Charriot's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kilgore tries for a takedown but Charriot sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Charriot with a hook. Charriot gets caught napping as Kilgore dives in and scores a takedown. Charriot manages to retain guard. Charriot is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kilgore forces his way into half guard. Steve Charriot is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilgore works his way into side control. Eric Kilgore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Charriot wants to control but Kilgore postures up. Kilgore is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Charriot knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kilgore goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Charriot has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kilgore but great work by Charriot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Charriot scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kilgore to see if he's OK. Kilgore is trying to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Charriot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Charriot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
