The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soendergaard gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hilkuri.
Soendergaard misses with a body kick.
Hilkuri misses with the combination.
Hilkuri avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Soendergaard tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hilkuri smiles and moves away.
Soendergaard shoots for a double leg takedown but Hilkuri sprawls well. He's pushed Soendergaard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hilkuri thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Soendergaard if he has to take too many more of those.

Hilkuri bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Soendergaard's head backwards.
Soendergaard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hilkuri swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Soendergaard on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hilkuri lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Soendergaard looks for a takedown but Hilkuri sprawls well.

Soendergaard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hilkuri as he jumps to the side.

Soendergaard misses with a takedown attempt - Hilkuri sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hilkuri cracks Soendergaard with a hook to the temple - Soendergaard is on wobbly legs here! Hilkuri swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Soendergaard falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Hilkuri wins by TKO!
