Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wes Brom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hadi Audi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Audi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Brom trying to control but Audi postures up.
Audi not doing much here.
Brom wants to get back to his feet.

Audi is working for a submission of some sort.
Audi works his way into side control.
Brom knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Audi on the ground.
Brom tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Audi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Audi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Brom has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Audi but great work by Brom.
You can see the frustration on Audi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Audi tries to bench press Brom off him but Brom keeps the position.
Brom is looking to take a break and control but Audi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Brom scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Audi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Audi.
Audi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Brom tries to free his leg and advance position but Audi is retaining full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brom throws and elbow that misses. Audi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brom's guard. Nice move by Audi!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Audi wants to control from the top but Brom keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hadi Audi dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Brom manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Audi on his heels. He'll look to pass Audi's guard now, I'm sure.
Audi wants to sweep but no luck.

Audi scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Audi looks to land a body kick but Brom moved away.
Audi misses with a combination

and Brom counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Audi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Brom trying to control the action but Audi is working from the bottom.
Brom stalling away here and it's allowed Audi to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Audi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brom's guard.
Audi is standing up over Brom. Brom looks to escape but Audi dives into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Audi is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Audi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Audi has got one arm under Brom's chin. This could be trouble... Brom trying to control the other hand but Audi gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Brom has tapped out! The fight is over!
