Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sebastian Wolf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Annie Love! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolf tries to clinch there but Love circles away.
Wolf looks for a takedown but Love sprawls well. Wolf has his takedown stuffed and Love counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wolf shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Love pinned against the cage. Love gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sebastian Wolf. That's going to take a lot out of him. Love shoots in for a takedown but Wolf shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Love throws a sloppy head kick and Wolf moves out of range easily. A jab from Love does it's job there. Love throws a push kick but Wolf slaps the foot to one side. Love stuffs the takedown. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Love can do anything to dispel that myth. Wolf postures up in Love's guard and throws a big left but Love blocks it. Wolf wants to pass the guard but Love is keeping the position. Love utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Love manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wolf manages to get himself to full guard.

Wolf dives in and grabs Love's left leg, looking for a takedown. Love pushes down on Wolf's head and hops out. Wolf shoots in looking for a takedown. Love tries to sprawl out of it but Wolf keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Love manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Love fails with a takedown attempt. Wolf looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Love is fending him off so far but Wolf persists. Nope, Love circles away and we're back to standing. Love keeps the fight on the outside. Love closes the distance and clinches.

We're back to striking at a distance. Wolf fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wolf shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Love defends it nicely. Wolf is breathing heavily. Wolf fails with an attempt to clinch.
Love's corner calls for a 1-2. Love obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Wolf tries to score a power double leg takedown but Love sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wolf somewhat. Love gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Wolf drops down looking for an ankle pick but Love pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sebastian Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolf closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Love's guard. Wolf throws and elbow that misses. Love uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wolf's guard. Nice move by Love! Love is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Love is looking to stand up but Wolf won't let him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wolf looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Annie Love dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Wolf turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Wolf throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Love works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Wolf prevents Love from standing back up.

The judges will like that one. Love throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wolf's waist but Wolf gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Love off to one side. Wolf closes the distance and pushes Love back into the cage. Wolf gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Love regains guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Love holds on and takes a little breather. Love preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolf postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Wolf has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Love manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wolf tries to reverse the position but Love maintains control. Wolf tries to hold on but Love pushes him away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Love looking to control but Wolf is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wolf regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sebastian Wolf will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Wolf shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Love controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Love regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Wolf. Love looking for a sweep. Not yet Love, not yet. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wolf's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Wolf throws a strike but Love rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wolf will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Love wants to get up but he can't break Wolf's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Love won't allow Wolf to get back to his feet. Wolf is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Love tries to free his leg and advance position but Wolf is retaining full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A looping hook to the body misses from Love. Wolf does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Love lands with an uppercut that bounces Wolf off the cage and back into range. Love leaves Wolf with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Love stuffs the takedown attempt from Wolf. Wolf gets slowly back to his feet. Wolf shoots in for a takedown but Love shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sebastian Wolf. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Love throws a body kick that misses. Love instigates a clinch. Wolf tries for a takedown. No joy.

We're back to striking at a distance. Love feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wolfs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Love fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wolf tries to score a power double leg takedown but Love sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wolf somewhat. Sloppy strikes from Love. Those never looked like landing. Wolf clinches up against the cage. Wolf tries to score a body lock takedown but Love shows good agility there to stay on his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A frustrated look appears on Love's face as he tries to break the clinch. Wolf has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Love is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Love is trying to push Wolf away but Wolf has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sebastian Wolf. I think Wolf has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by split decision... Sebastian Wolf! After the fight, Sebastian Wolf was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
