Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judge Holden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prime Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holden comes to the cage accompanied by Act a Fool. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Judge Holden! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prime Time! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Time takes one on the button. Good exchange - Holden coming out on top. Holden with a hook. Holden throws a hook but Time blocks it. Holden connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Time's hands. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Time throws a head kick but Holden moves out of range.
Holden drops his shoulder and cracks Time with a huge uppercut! Time goes down! Can Holden finish him?
Time is rocked! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Holden content to stall in guard here. Holden tries to free his leg and advance position but Time is retaining full guard. Holden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Time is controlling Holden's posture. Time keeping full guard, as Holden tries to pass. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Time can do anything to dispel that myth. Holden trying to control but Time is working from the bottom. Holden trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Holden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Time is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Time bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Holden's guard. Holden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Time doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Time manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Time throwing strikes from guard but Holden blocks nicely. Time is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Time working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Holden's head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Time accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Holden looking for a guillotine here but Time defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Time in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Time thows a big elbow that misses. Holden working a defensive guard here.
Time is looking to work some ground and pound but Holden has wrist control. Holden trying to keep a closed guard but Time is proving a slippery customer.
Holden is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Holden has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Time doesn't defend quickly enough and Holden has managed to lock this one up! Can Time escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Holden on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Judge Holden! Judge Holden retains his light heavyweight title! Judge Holden was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
