Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nagrom Drawde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard stuffs the takedown.
Maynard throws a right and a left that both miss.
Drawde shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maynard as he avoids it easily.
Maynard fails to land with a series of punches.
Maynard falls off balance throwing a combination
and Drawde counters with a shoot takedown. Maynard fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drawde loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Drawde trying to control but Maynard is working from the bottom.
Drawde is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Maynard is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Nagrom Drawde wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Maynard pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Drawde back to the cage. Maynard follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Drawde closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Maynard quickly recovers to half guard.
Drawde trying to pass the guard but Maynard defending well.
Maynard is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Drawde jumps into side control!
Drawde is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Maynard looks calm but he's in trouble here. Drawde gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Maynard is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Drawde lets go of the hold and Maynard can pop his arm back in it's socket.
