The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mongo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nemesis lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Mongo Mongo has been cut.
Mongo looks to score with a jab to the body but Nemesis is just out of range.
Mongo tries to clinch but Nemesis moves out of range.
Crunch! Nemesis slams his shin into Mongo's torso.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mongo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nemesis counters with a big uppercut that knocks Mongo off his feet! Nemesis dives into side control looking to finish!

Nemesis tries to score with some ground and pound. Mongo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Nemesis lands an elbow.
Mongo parries the strikes from Nemesis easily there. Nemesis is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mongo to escape.
Nemesis looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mongo is avoiding damage well.
Nemesis misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Nemesis throws a strike aimed at the side of Mongo's head but Mongo avoids it well.
Mongo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Mongo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nemesis connects with a decent elbow.
Nemesis scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mongo to see if he's OK.
