Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dominickoy Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia comes to the cage accompanied by techno viking. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia shoots for a takedown but Taylor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Taylor throws a hook but Maia blocks it.
Maia tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Taylor swivels and escapes.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Maia enables Taylor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Maia manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Taylor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Taylor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Taylor has managed to get both his arms back between Maia's legs - danger averted.
Maia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Taylor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
