PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Catfish Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Phil Ryan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan tries for a takedown but Davis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Davis throws a right hand that Ryan ducks under and follows up with a left that Ryan also avoids with ease.
Davis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ryan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davis is fending him off so far but Ryan persists. Nope, Davis circles away and we're back to standing.

Davis shoots in and bounces Ryan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Ryan clinches up with Davis and pushes him back against the cage.
