Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rockin Rolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes into the arena with Hostile Mass blaring out of the sound system. Rockin Rolla has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Jenkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rockin Rolla! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rolla looks for a takedown but Jenkins sprawls well. Jenkins drives through with a takedown into guard. Rolla looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenkins is one step ahead there. Rolla trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Jenkins throws and elbow that misses. Rolla uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jenkins's guard. Nice move by Rolla! Jenkins is striking off his back. Rolla thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Jenkins is looking for a sweep. Rolla is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rolla not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rolla is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jenkins wants to get back to full guard. Rolla moves into full mount! Jenkins won't be happy about that!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins is trying desperately to improve position. Rolla cracks Jenkins with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rolla dominating with strikes here. Jenkins manages to regain half guard. Good work. Jenkins tries to roll over but Rolla keeps him under control. Rolla is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jenkins has managed to free his arm - good work. Rolla looks gassed! Jenkins manages to get to full guard.
Jenkins trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rolla throwing strikes from guard but Jenkins blocks nicely. Jenkins lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rolla! Jenkins postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rolla looks a forlorn figure.
Jenkins moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rolla has worked his arm free - good work by Rolla!
Jenkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jenkins scores with punches from side control. Jenkins scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Rolla to see if he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins moves into full mount! Jenkins goes for an armbar but Rolla turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rolla. Rolla slips nicely into half guard. Jenkins is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jenkins gets back to full guard.
Rolla stands and throws Jenkins's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jenkins gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jenkins is wriggling around trying to escape.

Rolla putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Rolla lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Rolla can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jenkins is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rockin Rolla dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jenkins tries for a takedown but Rolla circles away easily and Rolla counters with a shoot takedown. Jenkins fights it but they end up in guard. Jenkins throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Rolla wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving. Rolla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenkins swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rolla drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rolla jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jenkins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rolla can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rolla sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jenkins's guard. Rolla looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rolla is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rolla is working for a submission of some sort.
Jenkins is pressing down on Rolla's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rolla preventing the sweep. Rolla wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving. Rolla pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jenkins is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jenkins tries to strike from the bottom.
Jenkins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rolla can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rolla pushes down on Jenkins's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jenkins tries to roll over but Rolla keeps him under control. Rolla seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rolla seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jenkins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rolla is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jenkins defends it well. Rockin Rolla has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins striking from the bottom. Jenkins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rolla scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Rolla is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jenkins is just riding it out for now. Rolla eventually gives up the hold. Jenkins wants to sweep but Rolla has passed to side control! Jenkins tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rolla wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jenkins sneaks back into half guard. Rolla is looking to take a break and control but Jenkins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rolla looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Rolla seems to be working for a kimura but Jenkins defends the submission attempt. Jenkins manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rockin Rolla showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Jenkins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rolla counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rolla. Jenkins has his foot on Rolla's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rolla works his way back into a safe position though. Rolla stands and throws Jenkins's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rolla advances to full mount. Rolla takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jenkins taking shots to the head. Jenkins tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rolla connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Jenkins is rocked! Both fighters are breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rolla unloading with bombs! Oh Jenkins is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rolla in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Rolla's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
