Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Dunham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Malik Alexander!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunham showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alexander.
Alexander throws out a powerful jab.
Alexander throws a series of punches but Dunham avoids them all with ease.
Dunham tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alexander swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Alexander throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Alexander avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dunham keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Alexander.
Dunham shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Dunham shoots in and drives through. Alexander sprawls well.
Dunham swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dunham throws a sloppy head kick and Alexander moves out of range easily.
Alexander is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Dunham tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Alexander connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dunham tries to clinch there but Alexander circles away.

Alexander avoids the head kick by Dunham.

Dunham gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Dunham is looking to stall here but Alexander recovers full guard.
Dunham is fighting to break Alexander's control of his arms but Alexander is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Alexander keeping full guard, as Dunham tries to pass.
Alexander is pulling down on Dunham's head to control his posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Malik Alexander.
Alexander misses with a body shot.
Dunham has a takedown stuffed.

Dunham closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Alexander stops Dunham from passing to mount.
Alexander keeping his opponent close.
Alexander regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dunham trying to control the action but Alexander is working from the bottom.
Alexander is concentrating on defense, preventing Dunham from advancing position.
Dunham prevents Alexander from improving his position.
Dunham is looking to take a break and control but Alexander is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pete Dunham has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Alexander throws a right and a left that Dunham avoids nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Malik Alexander will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Alexander slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Alexander avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dunham looks to clinch
and Alexander counters with a straight right hand.
Dunham tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alexander paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alexander misses with an uppercut. Dunham saw that one coming.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Alexander dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dunham changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alexander tries to avoid it but Dunham manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alexander to the ground. Alexander escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alexander paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Alexander swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Alexander looks to throw the jab but Dunham is out of range.
Alexander tries to clinch but Dunham moves out of range.
Alexander scores with the left hand. Dunham knows he should have avoided that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alexander connects with a nice looking jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Alexander fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dunham, pushing him back against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Dunham's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!


Dunham is rocked!
Alexander lands a big right hand that drops Dunham! The killer instinct kicks in and Alexander finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Alexander!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Malik Alexander!
