PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Lennox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koo Kuhrimao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Lennox had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhrimao misses with a double jab.
Some wild striking there from Lennox.
Kuhrimao tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lennox sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kuhrimao somewhat.
Lennox takes a swing at Kuhrimao's ribcage but misses.
Kuhrimao drops his hands momentarily and Lennox takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Koo Kuhrimao has been cut.
Kuhrimao tries to clinch there but Lennox circles away.

Kuhrimao pushes Lennox up against the cage in a clinch.

Lennox has Kuhrimao pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lennox pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kuhrimao tumbling to the mat - Lennox dives into Kuhrimao's guard.
Lennox wanted to stand there but Kuhrimao had control of the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lennox wants to stand and escape but instead Kuhrimao has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Lennox lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Kuhrimao sprawling to the canvas. Lennox follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Kuhrimao hang on?

Lennox wants to work for an arm triangle but Kuhrimao is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kuhrimao has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lennox is working away from the top position though.
Lennox is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Kuhrimao is refusing to be controlled, as Lennox sits in half guard.

Lennox is really struggling to control Kuhrimao but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Lennox is stalling here. Kuhrimao is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lennox seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kuhrimao has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Kuhrimao wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lennox keeps working.

Kuhrimao has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Lennox moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kuhrimao shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lennox but Lennox pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lennox throws a right and a left that Kuhrimao avoids nicely.
Kuhrimao tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lennox manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kuhrimao looks to land a combination but Lennox avoids it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kuhrimao is trying to force a seperation but Lennox has the dominant position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kuhrimao is trying to drag Lennox to the mat but Lennox just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Anderson Lennox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koo Kuhrimao.

Kuhrimao shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lennox but Lennox pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lennox pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kuhrimao back to the cage. Lennox follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lennox will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kuhrimao takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kuhrimao changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lennox tries to avoid it but Kuhrimao manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lennox to the ground. Lennox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lennox fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kuhrimao to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kuhrimao looks to clinch but Lennox throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kuhrimao taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
