Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Laruso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laruso is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Act a Fool--Flosstradamus. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laruso throws a head kick but Hardy moves out of range.
Laruso shoots in for a takedown but Hardy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hardy loads up on a big right hand but Laruso slips the punch.
Daniel Laruso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laruso on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hardy. Hardy obviously looking to wear him down.
Hardy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hardy there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hardy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hardy scores with a punch to the head.
Laruso stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hardy.
Laruso gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hardy.
Hardy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hardy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Laruso .
Hardy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Laruso shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hardy but Hardy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Hardy counters with a leg kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Laruso .
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hardy is looking for a sweep.
Laruso swings around for an armbar but Hardy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Laruso 's guard.
Laruso wants to sweep here but Hardy controlling him for the moment.
Laruso looks gassed!
Hardy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Laruso swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hardy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hardy wants to stand but Laruso has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hardy content to stall in guard here.
Hardy wants to pass the guard but Laruso is keeping the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Maxwell Hardy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Laruso throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hardy's waist but Hardy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Laruso off to one side.
Maxwell Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Laruso .
Hardy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hardy wants it to stay on the feet.

Hardy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Laruso fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hardy, pushing him back against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hardy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Laruso is defending well for now.
Hardy manages to break the clinch.
Laruso blocks the body kick.
Laruso dives in and grabs Hardy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hardy pushes down on Laruso 's head and hops out.
Hardy lands with a kick to the temple. Laruso shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Hardy is looking to wear down Laruso with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Donk. Hardy catches Laruso right on the button with a cross.
Laruso shoots in for a takedown but Hardy shows good takedown defense.
Hardy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Laruso .

Hardy lands a nice shot to the body.
Hardy cracks the inside of Laruso 's front leg.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Laruso pushes Hardy up against the cage in a clinch.
Hardy digs a right hand underneath Laruso 's ribcage. Laruso let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hardy looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Hardy lands with a right to the head.
Hardy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hardy moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hardy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Laruso takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Laruso fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hardy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Laruso has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maxwell Hardy dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hardy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Daniel Laruso is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Laruso shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hardy as he avoids it easily.
Laruso shoots for a takedown but Hardy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hardy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hardy connects with a crisp jab.
Laruso is rocked!
Hardy goes for a small jab and connects. Now Hardy goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Laruso stumbles back but Hardy runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Laruso to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Laruso will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
