Hudson has chosen Roll Over DJ as his entrance music. Gary Hudson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mr Funktastic's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson fails with a takedown attempt.
Hudson shoots in for a double leg but Funktastic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hudson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Funktastic.
Funktastic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hudson.
Mr Funktastic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Hudson.
Hudson throws a hook but Funktastic blocks it.

Hudson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Funktastic quickly recovers to half guard.

Hudson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Funktastic defends it well.

Funktastic wants to control but Hudson is keeping him busy.

Funktastic is working to tighten is grip on Hudson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hudson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Funktastic is really squeezing tight and eventually Hudson passes out! Funktastic breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
