Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Thunder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Voorhees!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thunder gets caught napping as Voorhees dives in and scores a takedown. Thunder manages to retain guard.
Thunder controls Voorhees momentarily but Voorhees frees himself.
Voorhees loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Voorhees stands up out of Thunder's guard for a moment - Thunder manages to land a nice upkick.
Thunder really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Thunder not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Voorhees lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Voorhees scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Thunder looking to hit a scissor sweep but Voorhees is one step ahead there.
Voorhees is fighting to break Thunder's control of his arms but Thunder is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Voorhees wants to pass the guard but Thunder is keeping the position.
Thunder is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Voorhees thows a big elbow that misses.
Thunder is trying to control the position but Voorhees postures up.
Voorhees postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Thunder is looking for a triangle but Voorhees pushes his legs off easily.

Voorhees looking to pass the guard.

Voorhees is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Thunder has control of Voorhees's left arm, preventing Voorhees from doing any damage.
Voorhees thows a big elbow that misses.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thunder is on top in guard.
Voorhees is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Thunder wants to control from the top but Voorhees keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Voorhees is trying to keep Thunder in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thunder advances to half guard.

Thunder is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Thunder is looking for a kimura here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Thunder is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Voorhees doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thunder.
Thunder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Thunder is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Voorhees works his way to full guard. Good work.
Voorhees has his hands on Thunder's head, controlling the position.

Thunder is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Voorhees is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Voorhees has escaped and now he's on top!
Thunder wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Thunder trying to keep a closed guard but Voorhees is proving a slippery customer.
Voorhees throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Thunder works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Thunder is trying to control the position but Voorhees postures up.
Voorhees wants to pass the guard but Thunder is keeping the position.
Voorhees thows a big elbow that misses.
Voorhees working some strikes from top position.
Thunder lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Voorhees!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thunder swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Voorhees is now in Thunder's guard. A big mistake from Thunder there, giving up the dominant position!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Voorhees wants to control from the top but Thunder keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jason Voorhees will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Thunder misses the jab.
Voorhees takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Voorhees swings for the body but Thunder moves out of range.
Thunder misses with an uppercut

and Voorhees counters with a shoot takedown. Thunder fights it but they end up in guard.
Voorhees must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Voorhees trying to control the position from guard on top but Thunder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Thunder working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Voorhees doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Thunder is tightening it up a little... Voorhees has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Voorhees reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Voorhees taps out! Nice BJJ there by Thunder!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Johnny Thunder!
