Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luis deFunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurono Kei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kei has chosen Roy Jones - Can't be touched as his entrance music. Luis deFunes has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luis deFunes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kurono Kei!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
deFunes thows a body shot but no joy.
deFunes connects with a single shot there.
deFunes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
deFunes pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
deFunes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
deFunes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kei sees it coming and avoids it easily.
deFunes goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
deFunes connects with a jab.
Kei fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A looping hook to the body misses from deFunes. Kei does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kei moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
deFunes tries to clinch but Kei moves out of range.
deFunes cracks a nice hook into Kei's ribs.
deFunes scoring well with a low kick there.
deFunes has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, deFunes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kei is looking for a takedown up against the cage. deFunes gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kei's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
deFunes misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kei is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
deFunes slows down the pace here.
A quick uppercut on the inside from deFunes.
deFunes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A left lands for deFunes.
deFunes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
deFunes lands a big head kick that sends Kei tumbling to the mat! deFunes takes a step backwards and waves Kei back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kei is rocked!
It looks like Kurono Kei has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
deFunes drives through and clinches with Kei against the cage.
Kei is still on wobbly legs! Can deFunes finish him?
deFunes digs a right hand into Kei's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kei's gas tank.
Kei looks gassed!
deFunes manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
deFunes lands with a right to the head.
deFunes lands a big right hand that drops Kei! The killer instinct kicks in and deFunes finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by deFunes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luis deFunes!
In his post fight interview, Luis deFunes started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
