Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Krohn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pora Poraa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krohn's entrance music is Superman Socks. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Krohn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pora Poraa! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poraa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Poraa wants it to stay on the feet. Poraa smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Krohn fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Poraa checks it well. Krohn on the wrong end of a nice hook. Nice defenses there by Krohn. Poraa lands with a cross. Poraa lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Poraa scores with a jab. Krohn acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Krohn misses with a looping left. Poraa misses with an uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Poraa connects with a right hand. Krohn shakes it off. Krohn throws a head kick that misses and Poraa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Poraa throws a hook but Krohn avoids it easily. Krohn fails with the takedown. Krohn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Poraa circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Krohn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poraa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Krohn. Krohn slips a straight right by Poraa. Krohn takes one to the side of the head.
Poraa misses with an uppercut. Krohn saw that one coming. Poraa misses with a hook. Krohn walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Poraa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Poraa throws a jab when Krohn was well out of range. Poraa throws a front kick that sends Krohn stumbling back into the cage. Poraa throws the left hand but Krohn avoids the punch easily. Krohn misses with a wild body shot. Poraa slips a jab from Krohn. Krohn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Krohn fails with the takedown and Poraa counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Poraa is looking for a kimura but Krohn is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Poraa to get the leverage. Krohn gets full guard. Poraa trying to control the position from guard on top but Krohn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Poraa missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Krohn working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Poraa throwing strikes but missing. Krohn controls Poraa momentarily but Poraa frees himself. Poraa trying to control but Krohn is working from the bottom. Poraa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krohn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Poraa has managed to get both his arms back between Krohn's legs - danger averted. Krohn is trying to keep Poraa in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Krohn is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Poraa has his hands clasped together but Krohn extends an breaks Poraa's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Krohn.
