The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
German throws a nice looking combination but Kuus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
German stuffs the takedown attempt from Kuus. Kuus gets slowly back to his feet.
German swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kuus tries to score a power double leg takedown but German sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kuus somewhat.
German throws a series of punches but Kuus moves out of range.

German lands with a straight right. Kuus didn't see that one coming.

Oooooh!!! German has knocked Kuus down with a huge combo! German steps away and waves a wobbly Kuus back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

German fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kuus to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kuus looks to clinch but German throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kuus taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Das German thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
