Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin ODonnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Frison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin ODonnell has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin ODonnell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elias Frison! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ODonnell throws a predictable looking body shot
and Frison counters with a stiff right hand. A right-left combo lands from Frison. Frison throws a good cross that connects.
ODonnell shoots in looking for a takedown. Frison tries to sprawl out of it but ODonnell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Frison manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Frison looks to land a combination but ODonnell avoids it well. Sloppy strikes from Frison. Those never looked like landing. Frison throws a good cross that connects.
ODonnell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Frison on his heels. He'll look to pass Frison's guard now, I'm sure. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. ODonnell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. ODonnell stops Frison from standing up. ODonnell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frison swivels though and keeps the full guard. ODonnell stands up from Frison's guard - ODonnell perhaps looking for a knockout. ODonnell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frison moves away. ODonnell fails to land the takedown. Frison throws a one two combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. ODonnell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin ODonnell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Frison tries to bum rush ODonnell with a series of wild strikes but ODonnell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Elias Frison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. ODonnell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Frison.

and Frison counters with a left and a right that stings ODonnell. ODonnell dodges the punch combination from Frison.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frison lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Frison. ODonnell takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Frison works over ODonnell's head and body with a nice combination. ODonnell shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Frison defends it nicely. ODonnell scores a takedown into full mount! Frison is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Frison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with ODonnell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. ODonnell is working for a guillotine from mount but Frison frees his head quite easily.
ODonnell is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Frison can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Frison squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

ODonnell is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Frison is surviving well by controlling ODonnell's body position as best he can. A much better position for ODonnell. ODonnell looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kevin ODonnell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Frison connects with a body shot. Frison smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters circle momentarily. Frison darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. ODonnell tries to clinch but Frison is having none of it.

ODonnell looks to score with a jab to the body but Frison is just out of range. Frison tries to bum rush ODonnell with a series of wild strikes but ODonnell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. ODonnell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Frison throws a series of punches but ODonnell moves out of range. Frison bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps ODonnell's head backwards. Frison misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. ODonnell takes one on the button. Frison fails to land with a series of punches.
Frison gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows ODonnell to score an easy takedown into full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. ODonnell advances to half guard. ODonnell is looking for a kimura but Frison is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for ODonnell to get the leverage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! ODonnell prevents Frison from standing back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Frison is defending against the submission attempts here by ODonnell.
ODonnell escapes and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Elias Frison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Frison has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
